My Story

I’m a proud single mom of two amazing grown kids, and I’ve always loved gardening, craft shows, and finding ways to live a little healthier and more mindful.

So, how did this little business begin?

This journey began when I learned that many of the candles I used at home were full of toxins. That didn’t sit right with me. I wanted something cleaner, something I could feel good about lighting every day. So I started researching, testing, and pouring, and before I knew it, Essence of Life & Home was born.

Every candle I make is a reflection of what I value most: health, comfort, simplicity, and beauty.
