Refund policy

We want you to love your candle as much as we loved making it.

If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, you may request a return or exchange within 14 days of delivery.

  • Start the return process within 14-days of receiving your item.

  • We inspect all returned items. The product must be in new or unused condition, with all original product inserts and accessories.

  • Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer in cases of buyer’s remorse returns, such as didn’t like the color/quality, changed your mind, ordered by mistake, bought it somewhere else, etc.

  • We will refund the cost of the merchandise and shipping charges if the return is a result of our error or defective product.

  • Ship the product as soon as possible so it arrives at our facility within 30 days of receipt of the item.

When returning an Item

To start a return, you can contact us at support@essenceoflifeandhome.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. After receiving an RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging, and mail your return to the following address: 303 Brooke Dr. Royersford, PA 19468

NOTE: Please note that returns must be sent through a reliable, traceable carrier.

Packaging your return

Ensure that your item is packaged well and is in a box suitable for shipping. If you can use the original packaging that the item came in, that is great! If it is not usable, that's ok. Any box that you have that fits the item and will protect it from damage as it makes its way back to us is fine. 

Essence of Life & Home is unable to send a box to send your return back in, so please make sure you keep that packaging until you are sure you do not need to return the item. 

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right by:

  • Sending you a replacement

  • Replacing the product or

  • Issue a refund

  • And we’ll also cover the cost of any return shipping

  • If the product is not defective, return shipping fees will apply.

Exceptions/non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

In-Person Purchases:
Due to the nature of in-person events and limited inventory, items purchased at markets or craft fairs are final sale unless they arrive damaged or defective.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days with a photo and we’ll make it right.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
